American Idol At Home Ratings Rise, Win Night for ABC

(ABC) RYAN SEACREST, LIONEL RICHIE, KATY PERRY, MAKAYLA PHILLIPS, LUKE BRYAN

American Idol‘s at-home performances averaged a 1.0 rating in the key 18-49 demo and 6.1 million overall viewers. It appears viewers were mildly curious to tune into the unprecedented format, as the numbers rose 2/10th of a point from last week’s “This is Me” clip show.

American Idol ratings won the night for ABC, while CBS’s 60 minutes had the most overall viewers (6.4 million).  For a comparison, last season’s Top 20 solos garnered a 1.1 in the demo and 6.2 million overall viewers.
