
Sunday’s American Idol Top 40 showcase earned a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demo, falling 1/10th of a point from last week’s 1.4 in the demo. The episode tied with the FOX special presentation of the iHeart Living Room Concert for America. However, it did win the night for overall viewers with 7.3 million average audience.
American Idol ratings have stayed steady all season, which is good news. However, TV viewing has increased overall due to coronavirus social distancing has kept most Americans at home. The Voice, for instance, has experienced its highest ratings of the season in the past two weeks.
