Watch American Idol 14 Top 48 contestant, Jax, perform Lady Gaga’s “You & I” as part of the House of Blues Showcase! The Final Judgement round airs Wednesday February 18 and Thursday February 19 at 8/7c pm on FOX. By the end of Thursday’s episode, The entire Top 24 will be revealed.
Back in December, the Top 48 performed to a packed house–including judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr.–at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. For some of the singers, it was their first club experience, ever. The performance determined which of the contestants advanced to the Top 24.

American Idol 14 Spoilers: Top 48 Singer Dropped Out
The New Jersey native, currently a fan favorite, elicited smiles and cheers from the packed house. At one point, she stops singing, confusing the crowd a little. Jennifer admits it wasn’t her favorite performance. “As much as I like people taking risks,” says Jlo to the singer, “You have to be able to engage the audience. It’s a dangerous thing to do.”
