Watch American Idol 14 Top 48 contestant, Adanna Duru, perform the soul classic “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” as part of the House of Blues Showcase! The Final Judgement round airs Wednesday February 18 and Thursday February 19 at 8/7c pm on FOX. By the end of Thursday’s episode, The entire Top 24 will be revealed.
Back in December, the Top 48 performed to a packed house–including judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr.–at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. For some of the singers, it was their first club experience, ever. The performance determined which of the contestants advanced to the Top 24.
After Adanna finished singing, Jennifer was so impressed, she gave her a standing ovation!

American Idol 14 Spoilers: Top 48 Singer Dropped Out
Keith Urban asks Shannon if it’s true that her House of Blues performance was the first time she ever performed in front of a live audience. She admits that it was her very first time, but that she becomes more and more comfortable every time gets up to sing in front of the judges.
Later, during their sit down, Judge Harry Connick Jr. told the singer about how people disregard the difficulty of cutting people. “It’s hard because of today,” Harry confesses, “Today is the day that we vote. What makes it difficult is that we’re artists. That’s what sucks. It sucks for the people who don’t make it through…”
