Watch American Idol 14 Top 48 contestant, Trevor Douglas, perform Elvis Presley’s “Burnin’ Love” as part of the House of Blues Showcase! The Final Judgement round airs Wednesday February 18 and Thursday February 19 at 8/7c pm on FOX. By the end of Thursday’s episode, The entire Top 24 will be revealed.
Back in December, the Top 48 performed to a packed house–including judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr.–at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. For some of the singers, it was their first club experience, ever. The performance determined which of the contestants advanced to the Top 24.

“For the next performance,” says Trevor, “The judges are really looking to make sure that you can make a crowd happy and have a good time.” The singer opts for that Elvis Presley classic, “Burnin’ Love.” Although, admittedly, Trevor left his science books at home, he still manages, as the Top 24 reveal progresses, to keep a running calculation of how many spots are left. Two thirds of a spot? Alrighty then!
