I’m a little late on this, but with The Voice 8 premiering next Monday, February 23, I just HAD to post this live performance from returning coach, Christina Aguilera.
The singer performed a medley of iconic New York-themed songs when she took the stage Sunday (Feb 15) as part of the 2015 NBA All-Star Game at Madison Square Garden.
The singer arrived on court in a giant red apple and belted out a combo of tunes including Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York,” George Benson’s “On Broadway,” Stevie Wonder’s “Living For the City,” and Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind” before introducing rapper Nas. After he performed, she finished off spectacularly with the NYC Rockettes to sing Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind.”
The NBA All-Star game aired on TNT.
