In a sneak preview from The Voice Season 8 premiere on Monday Feb 23, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams rock out together on the 1993 Lenny Kravitz hit, “Are You Gonna Go My Way.”
The all-star coaches performance has become the traditional kickoff of the new season of The Voice and it’s ALWAYS a highlight! This cycle, Christina Aguilera returns as coach after sitting two seasons out in a row to attend to her career and family matters (she had a baby last year). I welcome back her sassy ways! To be honest, that panel could use a little spunk. She might even critique a contestant or two! Ha.
Here’s hoping Pharrell learned a few lessons from his rookie season. It’s all fine and dandy to woo contestants onto your team. But you might want to develop a game plan that does NOT involve giving all of your best contestants away! JUST SAYING.
Anyway. I’ll be live blogging The Voice this season, just because I want to do it! If it’s a competition reality show, it’s hard for me to stay away.
