In this The Voice 8 blind auditions sneak peek, rocker, Sarah Potenza gets all four coaches to turn their chairs.
It’s the hopeful’s gritty rendition of The Faces’ classic “Stay With Me” that grabs the attention of coaches Christina Aguilera, Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
Blake tries to play the Nashville card with the native, showing her his boots, as Pharrell screams “NO NO NO!” Christina was the last to turn. When she saw how enthralled her fellow coaches were, she just had to check it out. “I’m so ready and so refreshed,” she says. “Let’s do it.”
“You have given this generation something that they have never seen before, says Pharrell LAYING IT ON REALLY THICK. “Just like you,” he adds, “I’m caught up in the moment.” He wants to make “Sarah’s music.”
Adam literally approaches her, and takes her hand. NO. He puts his arms around her! Ha. Will Sarah be able to resist? Adam wants to make sure that she becomes a rock n roll star. “After 8 seasons of doing this and winning twice,” he says, “You want to go with someone who knows how this all works.”
“This is the weirdest day that I’ve ever had!” exclaims Sarah. And to see just how weird it gets, and which team she chooses, you’ll have to tune into The Voice premiere on Monday February 23 at 8/7c PM on NBC.
