The Voice 21 Blind Auditions episode 3 Monday night (Sept 27) offered the best auditions so far in the season. Usually the first week is lopsided with talent, but this year it feels more evenly spread out. Holly Forbes, the singer showcased in the TV promos didn’t arrive until episode three. She was very good, as was Jeremy Rosado, Hailey Mia, Keilah Grace and Kaitlyn Velez from episode 4 (Sept 28).

This year, the young teens are more ready for primetime than usual. I’m getting some Casey Bishop vibes from young rock singer, Keilah. Kaitlyn and Hailey are also impressive, considering they are all under 16.
I could barely tolerate Jeremy back when he competed on American Idol season 11. His over-dramatic performances seemed so corny. But 9 years makes a difference. He’s a much better singer now. As if he has lived some life, which, considering that he adopted his sister’s kid at 22, he certainly has.
Holly Forbes is living up to the hype so far. She’s soul/rock but modern. She will likely make it into the final.
The Battles part 5 and 6 air next Monday (Oct 4) and Tuesday (Oct 5) and then the Battles premiere on Monday October 11. Check out more on the celebrity Battle Advisors HERE.
