The Voice 17 Winner Jake Hoot Drops New Single “B4U”

The Season 17 Winner of The Voice Jake Hoot has released his next single, “B4U.” Written by Hoot, Grant Vogel and Kylie Sackley, the ballad first gained steam on socials after the singer teased a clip of the song, which can be found on a digital platforms now. Jake has over 180K followers on Tik Tok and a few of his videos have gone viral (his account has 1.5 million likes).

Jake released his debut EP Love Out Of Time in 2021 which features an all-star lineup of musicians and songwriters including Dean Sams, Danny Myrick, Jenee Fleenor, Dave Pahanish, Jamie Floyd and more. The project also features a duet with his The Voice coach, Kelly Clarkson entitled “I Would’ve Loved You.” Upon its release, Love Out Of Time reached No. 2 on both the iTunes All-Genre Albums and Country Albums chart while “I Would’ve Loved You” reached No. 3 on the iTunes Country Singles Chart.

Jake and Kelly also unveiled a music video for the duet which has accumulated more than 8 million views, been featured on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna and is in broadcast rotation on CMT. The former contestant and coach reunited to perform “I Would’ve Loved You” on The Kelly Clarkson Show and The Voice semi-finals.

Following his  win on NBC’s The Voice, Jake has gone on to release several tracks including “Tennessee Strong,” which reached Top 10 in the iTunes Country Singles chart, debut single “Dangerous Thing,” special Father’s Day song, “The Best Job I Ever Had,” heartwarming love song, “Nadine” and rowdy summer anthem “Night Left.”

Drawing inspiration from his childhood in the Dominican Republic, Hoot released a cover of “La Bamba” from his debut EP which landed in the Top 10 on the iTunes Latin charts. Ringing in his favorite time of year, Jake’s first original holiday track “When Christmas Has Come And Gone” featuring Canadian trio The Tenors, was released last year and performed on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The country singer celebrated his one year anniversary with the release of “Wherever Time Goes,” featuring his wife Brittney Hoot. The couple recently welcomed a baby girl into the family.

Jake has performed dates across the US including opening slots for Alabama, Darius Rucker, Jordan Davis, Big & Rich and Rodney Atkins. Jake is currently gearing up for his 17th Grand Ole Opry performance.
