Glee Season 3 Spoilers: Premiere, Glee Project Arcs & More (UPDATED)
More Glee spoilers from reporters who attended a screening tonight of the Glee premiere “Purple Piano Project” directed by Eric Stolz. It airs on September 20 at 8 pm on FOX.
Glee co-creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy revealed details to reporters on how the Glee Project winners and finalists will fit into the Season 3 story arc. Plus, lots more spoilery goodness from reporters who attended the screening.

Kris Allen – “Fighters”, “I Don’t Wanna Know” & “Love Too Much” – Song Demos!
A Kris Allen demo has surfaced on the internet. It’s called “Fighters”. I have no idea what this song is or where it came from. It’s probably a song that wasn’t used on his post Idol debut, Kris Allen, but don’t hold me to that.

Simon Cowell: I’ve Got My Money On A Girl Winning the Show
After last night’s X Factor premiere in Los Angeles, Lyndsey Parker of Yahoo Music interviewed Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.
Of course, the best bites came from Simon. While Idol has not produced a girl winner since Jordin Sparks in Season 6, Simon is 100% confident that a gal could win X Factor. “Right now I’ve got my money on a girl winning the show, ” says Simon, “because I’ve seen the talent.”

X Factor Premiere – What The Critics are Saying + Videos & Photos
Last night’s premiere of the X Factor at the Arclight in Los Angeles started 2 hours late (which Simon blamed on down-to-the-wire-editing), but the consensus around the net seems to be that it was worth the wait. “Huge”, “Glitzy” and “Entertaining” are words that come up more than once. Also, the old Simon/Paula dynamic is back. But there’s also a Simon/LA Reid rivalry afoot. And backstories. Everyone’s got one, usually quite heart-tugging.
The premiere was a mashup of the 1st two episodes, –audiences saw Cheryl Cole–the judge Simon unceremoniously fired–in the 1st hour, only to be inexplicably replaced in the second by Nicole Scherzinger.

Daughtry Debuts New Song “Renegade” – Song Stream!
Chris Daughtry and his band, Daughtry premiere a new song called “Renegade” and surprise surprise…it rocks REALLY REALLY HARD!.
Times are really tough for straight up rock bands these days. Rock doesn’t get the play on Top 40 stations that it used to. I think part of the problem is that rock music has shifted to an older demo. R&B, Pop and Hip Hop are what the kids are listing to these days. So even Nickleback, who are releasing their album on November 21–the same day as Daughtry–may have a hard time getting their tunes played on CHR.
