Brad Beams Carrie to Tampa

Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood just topped the chart with their soaring duet, “Remind Me.” Brad has been on tour all summer, but that duet was conspicuously absent from his set list. Until last weekend. On Friday, September 9, the song was added to Brad’s show with a very stunning visual effect: A digital Carrie. The day before that show, Country Countdown USA host Lon Helton spoke with Brad & Carrie about performing the duet live. Carrie said, “I will make an appearance in Brad’s shows.” And Brad added, “And I’ll be at all of her’s too. They’ve actually perfected transporter technology from Star Trek, and she’ll be there, ” And Carrie said, “He’ll beam me up.”

Exclusive! Move Over Ryan Seacrest. “The X Factor”’s Steve Jones Has Arrived.

What is it about Wales that it produces so many extremely attractive and talented men? Despite having a population of only three million, the country has given the world a long list of handsome actors, singers and celebrities including Luke Evans, Tom Jones, Ioan Gruffudd, Matthew Rhys, John Rhys Ifans, Anthony Hopkins, Gareth David-Lloyd and the recently deceased Andy Whitfield.

To that list I predict will soon be added 34-year-old Steve Jones, whose career is likely to hit hyperdrive when Simon Cowell’s U.S. version of The X Factor hits American television next Wednesday night.

Simon Cowell Thinks Ryan Seacrest Is Insincere

As Cowell recalls (while having an imaginary chat with the absent Ryan for the interviewer), “I’d say, ‘Remember all the people who cried in these auditions?’ and you’d say, ‘I’m going to miss you so much. I care so much about you.’

“Have you ever picked up the phone and said ‘Are you OK?’ The answer is never. It’s all for TV.

“The difference with me is I have no qualms saying whether I like you or dislike you. I find it more unkind when you give someone false hope.”

Emmy Watch: Seating Chart

When your co-worker hosts the Emmys (Jane Lynch), you get a front row seat. Chris Colfer will be sitting right in front of Lea Michele, and next to Betty White.

I’m thinking Emmy organizers thought it would be hilarious to seat Chris’s grandma (she’s his date) next to Betty White in the front row). There are more seat charts inside

Glee’s Chris Colfer: I Don’t Deserve to Be Put on a Pedestal

Do you feel pressure to be a role model?
“Sometimes. A lot of that is also because a lot of people respect Kurt so much and put Kurt in that light. A lot of times people put me on a pedestal I do not deserve. Sometimes it’s hard for me because I do put a lot of pressure on myself because I know there are little kids in Iowa and Nebraska that don’t have too many people to look up to.”

What will Kurt do after high school?
“I think he’ll make it out of Lima eventually. I think the sky is the limit and he just has to realize it. I always thought he would go into fashion, but it looks like he is going more into becoming a performer. I think he should be a fashionable performer.”
