American Idol Top 20 singer Julia Gargano didn’t join her fellow Top 20 singers on the Comeback special because she’s signed a label deal with 19 Recordings. In fact, she recently dropped a new song called “Strangers.”
Now, she’s gathered a few new and old friends to play a concert live at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center in Staten Island New York on Sunday June 6. Most interestingly, Wyatt Pike, who mysteriously quit American Idol at the Top 16, is part of the bill. He joins American Idol 2020 and Comeback 2021 contestant Louis Knight, American Idol alum Brielle Von Hugel, Jessica Rose, and Joan Caddell & The Midnight Choir. “…so excited to be playing my first show (in a MINUTE) at @snugharborccbg in Staten Island, New York. Also getting to share the stage with some new and old Friends.” Julia wrote on Instagram.

As far as the new song, “Strangers” is concerned, Julia writes, “@aronforbes produced/mixed/co-wrote the hell out this one, along side the amazing @iamtonyferrari and myself.” The Staten Island Singer who finished in the Top 7 on American Idol last year, also recently duetted with fellow alum Francisco Martin on his song “Swollen.”
Check out the piano driven pop ballad below. The official music video comes out on Friday May 7.
