The Voice 7 Top 8 Go Home – Hometown Visit Schedules

The Voice - Season 7

Just like American Idol, The Voice contestants who survive long enough get to return home to a heroe’s welcome, with cameras in tow! While Idol contestants have to make the Top 3. On the Voice, the entire Top 8 will attend events and perform concerts for the adoring fans who have been supporting them.

From what I understand, only the Top 5 contestants–Damien, Craig Wayne Boyd, Matt McAndrews, John Taylor Williams and Chris Jamison— will have their concert footage aired on the show next week. But it’s nice that The Voice producers will allow the contestants–Danica Shirey, Ryan Sill and Luke Wade–who had to plan the concerts ahead, to also have a moment in the sun.

Most of the concerts take place today (Dec 3), a few tomorrow (Dec 3). Here are a few details:

Wednesday, December 3

Craig Wayne Boyd performs at the WildHorse Saloon in Nashville TN at 6 pm.
Chris Jamison performs at Stage AE with his band, in Pittsburgh PA.  Doors at 4:30, 6:00 pm.
John Taylor Williams performs at the Sentinel Hotel in Portland OR.
Danica Shirey performs at the Pullo Center at York campus of Penn State, in York PA. Tickets at 5, Doors at 6 pm.
Ryan Sill will sing before the basketball game at his alma mater, Dominion High, Ashburn, VA. Doors at 7 pm.

Thursday, December r

Damien heads back to Monroe LA to perform at Pecanland Mall. He’ll perform in the food court at 7 pm.
Matt McAndrew will perform and hold a Q&A session at the NBC Sports Arena in Philadelphia, PA
Luke Wade – After a parade, Luke will sing a few songs at Wright Historical Park in Dublin, TX. Later, Luke will perform at the Live Oak in Fort Worth.

ALL concerts are FREE and you can count on local officials appearing at some point to present keys to the city, cheering crowds, and many verklempt moments.  New drinking game: Take a shot everytime Damien sheds a tear! Heh.  There will be many teary moments, from everyone, I’m sure.
