On Monday, The Voice 5 Battle Rounds begin. To get ready for the next phase of the competition, check out these battle previews featuring face offs between a quartet of powerhouse females.
In the first clip, from Team Adam Levine, Jamaican pop star, and background singer, Tessane Chin, faces off against Donna Allen, the former Miami Sound Machine singer, performing Emeli Sande’s “Next to Me.”
Next up is Team Christina. Amber Nicole does battle against 15 year old Timyra-Joi on the Beyonce classic “Listen.” Woo. It’s the battle of who can sing louder!
I can guess the outcome of these battles without any spoilers. Tessane is young, relevant and has pop star potential. She will prevail over 40 something Donna. Amber, who was featured in a brief montage, doesn’t stand a chance against Timyra-Joi, who had plenty of screen time. We’ll see if I’m right in the coming weeks. What do you think?
