More bad press for Todrick Hall. The American Idol, Masked Singer and Celebrity Big Brother alum is being sued for thousands of dollars of unpaid rent.
But here is the thing–Todrick has been bragging for months that he “bought” and “owns” the house he lives in. But apparently he does not.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Todrick is being sued by Avi Lavian who claims he failed to pay $60k in back rent, for his Sherman Oaks home. The suit claims, Todrick is supposed to pay $30k per month in rent but is now around 60 days behind.
In a Youtube video, Todrick raved about buying the home and gave an elaborate tour of the place. He said, “I have been wanting to buy a home for a very very long time, and this is a dream come true.” The house is massive, encompassing three floors with a pool, screening room, massive living space and walk-in closet and more.
Todrick left American Idol season 9 in the Top 16 back in 2010. Afterward, he became a Youtube and Broadway star. He appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race and finished in 2nd place as The Bull on The Masked Singer season 6.
Most recently, he came in second on Celebrity Big Brother, where his lying, cruel and double-crossing antics got him in trouble with his fellow housemates. The jury vote was nearly unanimous for his fellow final 2 contestant, Miesha Tate to win the show. The jury was so outspokenly hostile as they voted against him that afterward, Todrick canceled all press interviews. He eventually addressed the situation before he embarked on a tour.
Fans were so annoyed and disgusted by Todrick’s bad behavior that they went digging around and dredged up every scandal Todrick has ever been involved in, starting with ripping off a bunch of families back in 2009. He’s been accused of not paying his staff and dancers, and also sexual harassment.
