NBC released premiere dates for its slate of summer shows, including America’s Got Talent. The Simon Cowell helmed competition show will bow its 17th season on Tuesday May 31 at 8 pm ET/PT. Acts from across the variety spectrum will compete for a $1 million prize.
The cast will remain the same, as executive producer Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum return to the judges panel. Terry Crews remains as host.
If you are in the Los Angeles area, tapings of the America’s Got Talent audition shows begin on April 1. The series returns to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California, with tapings running through April 10. Notably, there will be few COVID-19 protocols in place: No testing, no masks, but proof of vaccination will be required for entrance. Auditions are twice daily – 1 and 5 p.m. – on the scheduled dates. Get your tickets at OnCameraAudiences
Six weeks of LIVE SHOWS begin on on Tuesday August 9, which will also take place in Pasadena. One-hour results shows will air Wednesday nights at 8 pm ET/PT.
