Gwen Stefani is back on The Voice, and in a brand new clip, she shares that her confidence is “so high” right now.

In her three seasons on The Voice, Gwen has never won. But she did give season 7 winner, Craig Wayne Boyd a makeover before Blake Shelton stole him back from her again! Hey, when it comes to votes, a new haircut can work wonders…

“I am so happy to be back.” Gwen gushes about returning to The Voice. “My life changed so much on this show. I”m so inspired.”

“I haven’t been here for awhile,” she notes, “so I’m ready to go.”

She’s especially excited to be reunited with her boyfriend Blake “Blakey” Shelton on the panel, and to also sit alongside Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. “I feel so lucky right now,” she says.

“I think it’s so inspiring to be around all the music,” says Gwen about returning to The Voice. “Being able to share and look back on my own journey? There’s something really fulfilling about that.”

“I always love having Gwen on the show,” says Blake. “This is the fourth season. And she literally makes my day 100 percent better.”

Gwen first joined the show as a coach in season 7. Blake, Adam Levine and Pharrell were coaches on that panel. When she returned in season 9, she and Blake become a couple. Season 12 was the last time she coached on The Voice

Working with Gwen for the first time, Kelly says, “I literally grew up in my room singing to her. I’m like a superfan. Like a real fan. Like crazy.”

She’s such a fan, that in the clip, Kelly goes right ahead and tells a singer to pick Gwen over John. “What is this!” he exclaims, feeling betrayed.

But it’s all good! “Gwen Stefani is a legend,” John says. “She’s been so successful in this business…She is a fantastic addition to The Voice

During a battle for a contestant John explains, “I think we’ve discovered that Gwen presents very nicely, but she’s kind of an assassin at the same time.” He also tells a contestant who did or said who knows what, “You’re personally responsible for breaking up one of America’s favorite couples!”

Season 17 will be the first without Adam, who decided to quit the show a few weeks after signing a new contract. A last minute hire had to happen, and it was Gwen to the rescue

Gwen is the ONLY coach without a win. Blake has six, Kelly has two, and John won his first season as a coach last spring with  reigning champ Maelyn Jarmon.  Gwen, however, seems undeterred. “I’m back and this is my season to win,” she declares.

The Voice season 17 premieres Monday, September 23 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
