The Voice 9 Battle Rounds come to a close this week. Watch a preview from Monday’s showdown, when Evan McKeel and Riley Biederer battle it out for a spot on Team Pharrell Williams.
The duo put on an electrifying performance of “Higher Ground” by Stevie Wonder. It’s so good, it makes you wonder why Riley’s Blind Audition performance of Kelly Clarkson’s “Invincible” was montaged. We saw Evan’s audition–he got a four-chair turn with his rendition of alt-rock song “Typical” by Mutemath. After, he crooned a bit of “Overjoyed” by Stevie Wonder, for the coaches, by request, proving he could sing old school soul, too.
