America’s Got Talent Audition: Heidi’s Golden Buzzer Lea Kyle is the Best Quick-Change Act
Lea became a beautician as a day job. It wasn’t necessarily her dream or passion, but she did it to make a living. She claimed that her first time on stage was after boyfriend, Florian Sainvet, an AGT contestant who got cut at Judges Cuts last year, asked her to perform with him. She calls him her “biggest supporter.” Lea’s big dream is to have her own show in Las Vegas.
It’s no wonder Heidi hit her buzzer for Lea. Her act was completely mesmerizing, and totally Vegas worthy. She presented stunning quick changes that were not easy to figure out. Often, quick changes are done behind curtains. But much of her work was right in front of the judges. The trick where the outfit went from the coat rack to her body was truly stunning.
Howie Mandel stood up right away and the rest of the panel joined him. He believed that the show had “never seen anyone better” than her. Sofia Vergara said she “had a great time” during Lea’s performance. Simon Cowell said normally quick change acts feature two people and the music is terrible. But, he said her act was “world-class.”

Heidi called Lea’s act “real magic” and said they have never had anyone as good as her before, as she pressed the Golden Buzzer sending her straight to the live shows.
American Idol alum Haley Reinhart’s cover of “Dreams” by The Cranberries played as Lea and Heidi shared this amazing moment. It seemed picture perfect that Heidi’s Golden Buzzer was fashion related, and it was exciting to see an act get the Golden Buzzer that wouldn’t typically receive it.
Lea is no stranger to competition TV shows in recent years. She appeared on France’s Got Talent in 2020, and she also fooled Penn and Teller in 2020 with her quick-change routine, leading them to say that “this is a magic act” unlike most quick change.
Along with Lea, my favorites were singer Jayy, Psychic Peter Antoniou, strength group Positive Impact Movement, Dog Trainer Alexandra Cote, and Dance Group Dokteuk Crew. The other acts that made it through included showtune singer Tory Vagasy, experienced comedians The Sklar Brothers, and a Hip Hop/Bluegrass fusion group Gangstagrass.
