The reign of current American Idol winner Maddie Poppe will end after Sunday’s 3 hour finale, but her music career continues. On Wednesday (May 15) the singer stopped by Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles to perform the National Anthem. The announcer gave her upcoming album Whirlwind, a nice plug!

Maddie Poppe’s first post-Idol album, Whirlwind drops tomorrow (May 17). The set features her current single “Made You Miss” and other fan-fave songs such as “First Aid Kit” and “Little Things.” On Sunday, Maddie will make a special appearance on the American Idol finale as she passes the torch to a new winner–either Laine Hardy, Madison VanDenburg or Alejandro Aranda.
