The brand new Key Art, released to day features a hopeful jumping for joy after they receive their golden ticket, superimposed on a backdrop of chart numbers Idol alums have racked up in the years since Kelly Clarkson won the crown in 2002.

The slogan this year is: SUPERSTARS MADE HERE. Indeed, American Idol has produced artists who have gone on to do some pretty great things in diverse areas of show business. But these days, the show is struggling to graduate viable winners, as the last two champs, Caleb Johnson and Candice Glover pretty much disappeared from view after their seasons were over (Seasons 12 and 13, respectively).
In any case! You can’t take away American Idol’s legacy. There’s no reason not to celebrate it!
