This is a real treat you don’t want to miss.

Season 10 American Idol alum, Haley Reinhart performed a GORGEOUS acoustic version of her single “Free” on The View this morning. This may be my favorite version of the song yet. There is also a brief interview with the ladies after her song where she discusses Idol and her album.

    That performance of Free is my favorite.  I think Haley’s voice is truly incredible.
    I so hope that radio plays her.  I think Oh My should be a huge hit.

    How free is not getting enough radio play is beyond me.

    I have never understood the radio play stuff. Makes no sense to me. Haley’s song is really nice.

    Haley is one of the greatest talents to come out of Idol.

    That was an exquisite performance of “Free”. And Haley looks gorgeous.

    And actually I liked that she was sitting on a stool, because for once her posture, attitude and voice portrayed the sense of mourning, regret and relief that I read in the song lyrics (unlike her video or Idol performance where her “come hither” vibe was disruptive to the meaning of the song for me).

    And how she has only sold 41,000 copies of her album in a month and a half is beyond me too.

    Props to John Notto on guitar for the inspired acoustic version. Haley’s so in her element here, her runs are beautiful. Definitely the best live version of Free I’ve heard. Fantastic.

    Late to the party, but that was lovely.  I only see her getting better and better.  If the major label label doesn’t work out, I see her landing on her feet and making music for a living.  Her voice and instincts are so pretty!  I loved the long skirt and shoes too.
