Carrie Underwood welcomes a guest at each of her Cry Pretty concert stops to perform the Ludacris rap part on her hit song “The Champion.” Considering the criterion for the coveted spot is living life like an everyday hero, The American Idol season 4 winner made the perfect choice for her Tulsa, Oklahoma stop on Thursday (Oct 25).
The Checotah, Oklahoma native proudly introduced her mother, Carole as the night’s Ludacris stand in.
“Got to share the stage with this amazing champion tonight! Of course, I’m talking about my mom! She crushed it!,” wrote Carrie on Instagram.
