I am still not feeling the real time voting, ya’ll. Spreading it out over two nights helped. The fall edition was so rushed. But there are still flaws. The Voice UK relied almost totally on real time voting. But everyone gets to participate while watching the show. Also, there were SPECIFIC voting windows that opened and closed while singers were not performing. Voting was conducted over a commercial break. Yeah. Fast. But I don’t know about you–but it took me a minute to catch on that I could vote for team members once the singing started. Too chaotic. I hope the process didn’t hurt any of the contestants coughcasijoycough.

Speaking of which–I was OK with the contestants who advanced except for Team Blake’s Casi Joy. I was shocked that he didn’t save her. I like TSoul, but he’s going to be eliminated pretty quickly. TSoul is just too quirky for The Voice. Maybe Blake only wants one country singer on his team (Lauren Duski) because if there were two, they’d cancel out each other’s votes. I think the show is gunning for a female winner this year. Notice all the country fellas were weeded out pretty early on. So, yeah. Casi wuz robbed.
By the looks of the video packages, the comeback artists were told by their coaches right after they were eliminated from the knockouts. That’s why pairing were set up to free talented and potentially popular singers like the two Johnnys (Team Adam’s Hays and Team Gwen’s Gates) only to bring them back later. So far, the wildcards are out as soon as they’re back in. We’ll see how the Johnnys do tomorrow.
