iTunes chart standings as of noon 5/9
This week’s iTunes winners are once again, Hunter Plake and Lauren Duski. But barely! The two singers round out the Top 10 with Brennley Brown and Jesse Larson in the Top 20. For comparison: Season 11 Top 10 had FIVE singers in the Top `10. THREE in the Top 5. Season 10 Top 10 was weaker with only Alisan Porter in the Top 10 at No. 6. But Jordan Smith’s season 9 landed SEVEN singers in the Top 10! The Voice season 8 had two, including Sawyer Fredericks, in the Top 5. I wonder if it’s at least partially a fall vs spring thing, with fall being a peak music buying season. Hm.
