The Voice season 12 finalists aren’t racing up the charts as they usually do at this time of the season. This cycle features some very talented artists, but there seems to be a lack of fan investment this time. It’s 2:30 am and not one contestant has reached the Top 5. Is it the contestants or is The Voice fatigue setting in? Something to ponder.
The Voice 12 Recap – Top 10 Live Blog (VIDEOS)
In any case, my favorite performances from the night were from Hunter Plake, Jesse Larson, Vanessa Ferguson and Chris Blue. Honorable mentions go to Lauren Duski and TSoul. And A for Effort to Mark Isaiah, who fearlessly keeps doing a thing Voice viewers don’t really want.
I wondered if America would get Vanessa Ferguson’s performance. And it looks like, no, they weren’t feeling the singer’s hip hop vibe. She could be in trouble this week. I’m not feeling Lilli Passero like I did early in the season. Adam thinks he’s unlocked the secret to Lilli’s success. But nope. He’s not choosing great songs for her.
Remember: Double elimination tomorrow night. Three singers will perform for the save.
