Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be officially sworn in as President and Vice-President respectively of the United States today (Jan 20) at 12:00 PM ET and there is plenty of A List talent on board to help celebrate.
The swearing in ceremony itself will feature Lady Gaga singing the National Anthem, a musical performance from Jennifer Lopez and Garth Brooks, who jokes he may be the only Republican on the program, bringing America together with a unifying performance.

Later in the evening, a primetime special which will air across most broadcast and news networks (NOT FOX. We’ll be live blogging The Masked Dancer as usual) begins at 8:30 pm and features a slew of star performances. Expected to appear on Celebrating America are Katy Perry, Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard (Florida Georgia Line) performing a duet. Additionally, Black Pumas, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jon Bon Jovi, Ant Clemons, Foo Fighters, John Legend, Demi Lovato, Bruce Springsteen, and Justin Timberlake will perform in the primetime special. DJ Cassidy will perform a set.
Additionally, the special will include appearances from actors Kerry Washington and Eva Longoria, Skyhook Foundation Chairman and the NBA’s Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Founder of World Central Kitchen Chef José Andrés, labor leader Dolores Huerta, and the first woman MLB general manager Kim Ng.
The day after the inauguration ceremony, the Washington National Cathedral will host a presidential prayer service. Josh Groban, Patti LaBelle and the Clark Sisters are the performers in the ecumenical service.
Celebrating America will be hosted by Tom Hanks tonight (Jan 20) from 8:30-10:00 p.m. ET/PT. ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSNBC and PBS will carry it live. The special will be streamed live at https://BidenInaugural.org/watch and on on the inauguration committee’s YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Twitch social media channels.
The prayer service with Groban, LaBelle and the Clarks will begin at 10 a.m. ET Thursday and be livestreamed at https://bideninaugural.org/watch and https://cathedral.org.
A Parade Across America event is also scheduled for Wednesday’s inauguration festivities, featuring Andra Day and a New Radicals reunion performance.
