Congratulations to One Direction member, Louis Tomlinson. The singer and Briana Jungwirth welcomed their first child, a son, on Thursday, Jan. 21 in Los Angeles, a source close to the mother told People magazine.
“Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother,” a mutual friend of the two told People.
“It was a surprise at first,” a source said of the pregnancy, “but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer.”
Louis “vowed” to be at his baby mama’s side and to be a “hands-on dad” when the baby finally arrived early this year, sources also said.
Louis and Briana met and briefly dated in last May following his split from longterm girlfriend Eleanor Calder that March.
Currently, One Direction are on hiatus to pursue solo projects. And in Louis’ case–to get acquainted with his newborn son.
