American Idol 2022 winner Noah Thompson releases haunting “Middle of God Knows Where” music video

American Idol 2022 winner Noah Thompson delivers the relatable and emotionally haunting official music video for his debut EP’s title track “Middle of God Knows Where.” The first of four videos to be released from his debut project, “Middle of God Knows Where,” co-written with Alison Veltz and producer Eric Arjes, begins to weave the passionate ups and downs of a relationship and the somber and devastating end.

Noah, who draws in fans with his powerfully emotive voice, released his first-ever EP, Middle of God Knows Where (6/9), while simultaneously making his songwriting debut with the compelling title track which takes the listener on a ride through the city of heartbreak and the aftermath of emotions and questioning when an ex leaves.

Noah co-wrote two tracks, including ‘Us No More’ and ‘Middle of God Knows Where’

Staying true to himself with songs embodying his humble roots while adding a rock edge into the mix, Noah is finally giving fans a glimpse into his songwriting ability, as the project includes two cuts co-written by the singer including “Middle of God Knows Where” and “Us No More.”

The EP also features his American Idol original single “One Day Tonight,” which hit No. 1 on iTunes All Genre and Country charts upon release and is still racking up an over 1 million on-demand streams per week.

Earlier this year, Noah returned to American Idol to mentor this year’s finalists and perform a special duet version of the track with last year’s runner-up HunterGirl.

The project also includes “She Gets It From Me,” his latest track “Make You Rich,” and his stunning and career-changing cover of Rihanna’s “Stay.” His performance of the well-known song changed his trajectory on the competition show, highlighting his potential leading him to ultimately being crowned as the winner of American Idol.
