Kaitlyn Bristowe, Boyfriend Sloppy Behavior Results in Covid-19

Uh oh. Bachelor couple Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick have Covid-19. And the two believed they were being so careful.

The Dancing with the Stars winner explained she and Jason had been quarantining before heading out to see their family members for Christmas. “We thought we were making a responsible decision to have ONE person over, who had been tested daily for work,” she wrote. “Negative tests for days and days in a row. The day we saw her, she became positive which we all found out the next day, and as a result so did we. Now, like many, we will spend Christmas by ourselves.”

She urges her fans to take their situation as a warning. “We just want to let everyone know that we thought we were being safe, but covid is bigger than us,” Kaitlyn added. “Today, We are thinking of everyone who is spending the holidays alone, anyone who is sick or overcoming something, (as 2020 has taught us to overcome a lot), and all of the healthcare workers who have been away from family, taking care of others for months, and months now. We will be ok!! Be safe and happy holidays!!”

So…this is why health professionals are urging folks to STAY HOME over the holidays. First of all, allowing an outsider into a household a day BEFORE travelling is very risky behavior. A person who tests negative for the virus could STILL be infected! What if Kaitlyn and Jason visited their families BEFORE learning they were infected with the coronavirus? They would have gotten their families sick. The mingling of households over the holidays is why the virus is currently spreading like a raging wildfire.

Stay safe everybody!
