Nile Rodgers hosts star-studded roller disco at LA botanic garden – Nile Rodgers had VIPs like Jason Mraz boogying on skates at The DiscOasis — an outdoor “music-driven interactive theatre” that he curated at the South Coast Botanic Garden in LA on Wednesday. The garden featured a giant roller-rink, where guests could skate and dance along with professional rollerbladers and performers in ’70s disco garb. Nick Jonas hospitalized for fractured rib in Olympic Dreams special after crashing bike – Nick Jonas had to be hospitalized after fracturing his rib while filming NBC’s Olympic Dreams Featuring Jonas Brothers. Footage of the incident, which was shot beforehand, aired on the network Wednesday at the end of the premiere. The brothers had been racing on BMX bikes around an intense track. As they rounded a curve, Nick’s bike spun out. Joe and Kevin nearly avoided a three-guy bike pileup, but the producers of the special had to call an ambulance, as Nick was visibly in pain. Derek Hough Heading to Las Vegas for Limited Engagement, ‘Dance-Centric’ Show This Fall – Derek Hough will soon be taking the stage for his Las Vegas show, nearly a year-and-a-half after the COVID-19 pandemic upended his original scheduled run. The Dancing with the Stars judge, 36, will perform the limited engagement show, titled Derek Hough: No Limit, at The Venetian Resort’s Summit Showroom this fall. The dates include Sept. 22-26 and 29-30, Oct. 1-3 and 13-17, and Nov. 3-7, 10-14 and 17-21.
