American Idol season 10 alum Haley Reinhart just dropped the title song off of her upcoming EP “Off The Ground.
“My new single, Off The Ground, is officially out NOW!!!” writes Haley Reinhart on social media, “Thrilled to announce that I teamed up with my favorite director, Robert @rodriguez! We co-directed the official music video… (which is also my first short film!!!)”
Haley continued, “This was an absolute dream to create with my talented friends and producers @tingsek & @grahna. My hope is that this song and the video will help inspire everyone listening to manifest their reality! I love you all and I’m so grateful to have your support as well as my amazing team below, thank you!!!”

“Off the Ground” is written by Haley Reinhart, Spencer Ludwig and Lester Mendez. The music video is directed by Haley and Robert Rodriguez.
In another social media post, Haley describes the music video as “A dream I’ve long manifested… Check me out playing multiple characters— just in time for #halloween!”
In the run up to the song’s release, Haley teased the different characters, including “The Goddess,” “The Therapist” and “The Diva.”
In the clip “The Diva” seeks the help of the “Therapist” as she seeks the answers to life’s big questions. The song, which features a cool vibe and bossa nova beat. follows “The Diva” as she finds her inner “Goddess.” And in the end, Diva had the answers to her own questions all along.
The Felliniesque film, shot in muted colors, harkens back to the great Italian films of the 50s and 60s. “Off The Ground” is available everywhere to stream and download.
