Headlines: Lauren Alaina Set For World Series Anthem, Voice Coaches That’s My Jam

Who is singing the National Anthem for World Series games in Atlanta (Lauren Alaina!) – Award-winning country singer and Georgia native Lauren Alaina will have the honor of singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” on Sunday. Alaina grew up a Braves fan watching games with her dad. She was excited to play at Truist Park in 2018 along with Jason Aldean, Hootie & the Blowfish, and Luke Combs and said she even got to meet Chipper Jones. She was spotted back at the park on the three-year anniversary of her performance earlier this year once again rooting on the Braves. Game Three, Four, and Five will take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Truist Park in Atlanta. Game time is scheduled for 8 p.m. – FOX 5

The Voice Coaches Are Taking Their Battle to a Totally Different TV Show – That’s right: Ariana Grande, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton are bringing you an early look at NBC’s new hour-long music and comedy variety game show, That’s My Jam. Hosted by Jimmy Fallon, the series draws inspiration from the most popular Tonight Show games, pitting two teams of celebrities against each other as they participate in different music, dance and trivia-based challenges and performances. The best part? Stars aren’t competing for any sort of trophy, but proceeds for a charity of their choice! We Three Kings will premiere on Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. ET. Both specials will feature music, dance, and comedy. Confirmed guests include Jordin Sparks, Tank, and Sevyn Streeter. Morgan Wallen to Headline 3 Shows at Kentucky Arena As WME Confirms It No Longer Books Him – Morgan Wallen will headline three shows at Lexington, Kentucky’s Rupp Arena on Dec. 3-5. The “Sand in My Boots” singer sold more than 36,000 tickets in less than 90 minutes after they went on sale at 10 a.m. ET on Friday morning (Oct. 29), according to the venue; the Dec. 5 show was added due to fan demand. Lady Gaga & Nicki Minaj’s Choreographer Laurieann Gibson Preps Talent Contest ‘Icon’ With Catalina Content – Laurieann Gibson, choreographer to stars such as Lady Gaga, Megan Thee Stallion and Britney Spears, has teamed up with Sky-backed producer Catalina Content to develop a new talent format. Gibson, who was also a judge on So You Think You Can Dance, is working with Jeff Collins, who previously ran Dance Moms producer Collins Avenue, on Icon. The project is an arced talent competition designed to discover and cultivate the next global pop star through an intensive training camp. She will be a judge and exec producer of Icon, where she, alongside various celebrity judges, will handpick 11 artists to participate in an arduous, transformative 11-week artist development camp to challenge and elevate their artistry as a singer, dancer and entertainer.
