Emmelie de Forest won Eurovision Song Contest for Denmark last year with song “Only Teardrops”, so Denmark’s capital Copenhagen is hosting ESC 2014. This year, 37 countries are participating.
On Tuesday 10 countries qualified for Saturday’s Grand Eurovision Final. Tonight, 10 more countries will join them. The Big 5 (United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, France and Italy) and host country (Denmark) are automatically qualified for the final.
Jessica Mauboy, Australian Idol season 4 runner-up, will perform during the televoting period tonight. Eurovision Song Contest is very popular down under.
From the second semifinal, Austrian Bearded Drag Queen is getting lots of attention.
