It’s been 10 years since Chris competed on Idol and embarked on a successful career in popular music–exactly the right time to release his first greatest hits compilation, It’s Not Over…The Hits So Far, featuring old favorites and a brand new song, “Torches.”
Recently, the season 5 alum returned to Idol to perform duets with two Top 24 contestants, Dalton Rapattoni and Lee Jean. The singer is currently preparing to star as Judas in the FOX production of The Passion, to be performed live in New Orleans. The production sets the story of Jesus Christ’s last days on earth to a contemporary soundtrack of pop and rock tunes. Chris will perform two songs Imagine Dragons “Demons” and “Bring Me To Life” by Evanescence.
After the performance he tells Kelly and Michael he is both nervous and excited about his first major acting role.
