Dancing With The Stars 19 Spoilers! Stars and Partners!

The Dancing With The Stars 19 cast reveal is set for Good Morning America on ABC tomorrow. But it looks like we have some rumored spoilers ahead of the big announcement.

THESE ARE NOT MY SPOILERS. The fine folks at the Pure DWTS blog have gathered the intel. Click the Link to Check Them Out!

While news media sites have revealed a partial list of stars, if these spoilers are correct, we now have the full list of thirteen contestants.  Sharna Burgess wasn’t on the press release sent out by ABC announcing the pro partners, by the way.

We’ll see if these spoilers are correct when ABC makes the official announcement tomorrow morning. Watch for the blog for more details!

  1. They’re really starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel with these “stars”.

  2. Eh, they’ve never been known for real stars. NO one wanted to do the show Season 1.

  3. Man, when Bethany Mota is the biggest money maker on that list you know they really are scrapping for stars.

  4. I love Allison. But isnt she a contemporary dancer?

DWTS took so much time hire Artem from SYTCD and Strictly Come Dancing.

This is the weakest line of stars since so long. And lots of over 40s celebs this time.

  5. At this point, the professional dancers are bigger stars than most of the so-called stars.

  6. Should rename the show “Dancing with B and C Listers”…not a ‘star’ amongst this group.

  7. Cheryl and Antonio should look really hot together..after seeing the recent videos of Alfonso on the DWTS boards I think he’ll be a real contender. Karina has to be freaking out, she’s a huge UFC fan and she named her dog after Randy.

  8. Not thrilled with this list at all. I only know a couple of them and the ones I do know don’t excite me. No Maks; Julianne as a fourth judge; and a lousy selection of celebrities. No wonder they wanted a fourth judge. They’re going to need to fill the time somehow. What a shame. I used to really enjoy this show.

  9. Usually DWTS manages to get at least one well known or controversial “star.” But no one in this group stands out at all.

  10. Tommy Chong? From Cheech & Chong? There’s your joke contestant who either disappears real quick or lasts longer than he has any right to. Now I’m thinking of the “Dog Sh*t” routine from one of their albums. Too bad it’s too dirty to do on network TV. It’s still funny and probably more entertaining than watching him dance would be.

  11. A positive is there doesn’t seem to be any ringer contestant with a deep dance background. Probably Alfonso Ribeiro comes closest.

I can’t really think of a year where anyone didn’t think they were scraping the bottom of the barrel of the celebrity pool. The fun of the show is still seeing the growth of the celebrities and getting to know them as people anyways. Ultimately, the level of fame of the contestants overall has never correlated to 1) how they placed or 2) the ratings of the show.

Last season was a relatively good year in terms of getting well-known names and it didn’t translate into particularly great ratings.

If it’s a cast of fun personalities who take the competition seriously enough, I’ll continue to be hooked. This cast does seem to skew a little older in age and seems to have one or two less “hot” or “cute” contestants than normal, but still worth reserving judgment.

  12. This is the weakest line-up in the history of the show. I have no idea who most of these people are.

  13. I believe that Lea Thompson was a ballet dancer with the American Ballet Theater before she became an actress. Does that count as a “ringer”?

On the whole, I’m not excited by these celebs. I thought last season was great and I believe it ran pretty close to the Voice or beat it in the ratings so it did well enough, with a couple of mis-steps, mostly in the guest judging (Abby Lee Miller, and Julianne Hough, especially). Not excited about Juliane judging. Meh.

  14. More like D-listers. I don’t think they’ve ever had any A-listers on DWTS

  15. BTW I touched on this in the last DWTS thread but for anyone that thinks Alfonso is ONLY known for Fresh Prince and the silly Calton dance, nope the guy has dance background going back to when he was 10 and got started on Broadway as the lead in The Tap Dance Kid, that role led to Michael Jackson handpicking him for a pretty huge Pepsi commercial he starred in with Michael.

  16. So are they scraping the bottom of the barrel with this line-up or what? I don’t know who any of these people are. They obviously have a very difficult time attracting high profile celebs.

  17. The pretty little liar one should be interesting because the girl on the list actually just had her character killed so that will probably be the buzz this time

  18. I have a fondness for Lea, Alphonso, and Antonio…maybe it’s my age catching up with me. I prefer SYTYCD to Dancing with the stars and I might watch this season purely for Allison.
