Dancing With The Stars 20 To Premiere Monday March 16

ABC today announced the premiere dates for the 10 year anniversary edition of Dancing with the Stars, Monday March 16 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET).

From the ABC press release:

“Dancing With the Stars” returns for its 20th season with an all-new celebrity cast– to be announced at a later date — who will brave the dance floor for the first time. Each week, these celebrities will leave their comfort zones and endure hours of grueling rehearsals to master technical choreography and entertaining performances. In the end, only one star will rise above the rest to be crowned champion and win the coveted mirror-ball trophy.

Hosted by Emmy® Award-winning Tom Bergeron (America’s Funniest Home Videos) and Erin Andrews, Dancing with the Stars is the hit series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines judged by renowned ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Julianne Hough.

It was previously reported that the 20th season would be the LAST for long-time judge, Len Goodman, who has found travelling back and forth to London in the fall to judge the American and UK versions, too much at this stage of his career.

Also, fan favorite and five-time winning pro, Derek Hough, has announced he’ll be sitting out the 20th season to star in New York Spring Spectacular, a  7 week limited run production at Radio City Music Hall.

There have also been rumblings that The Bachelor star, Chris Soules, could be a member of the celebrity cast!

In other news, the Tom Bergeron hosted America’s Funniest Home Videos will air a special 25th anniversary episode on Sunday February 15 (7:00-8:00 p.m., ET). The show will feature the best clips from the last 25 years.
