Steven Tyler called into the Today Show this morning to chat with Matt Lauer about the nasty fall he recently took in Paraguay.

He assures Matt it was food poisoning that made him dizzy and caused his fall, not a relapse of his life-long drug and alcohol problems.

There are reports that Steven Tyler fell in shower and was taken to the hospital. He lost 2 teeth, and has cuts near his eye and mouth. He was released after 3 hours.

Steven Tyler & Randy Jackson Return to American Idol

And in the “we already knew this, didn’t we?” department–Entertainment Weekly is reporting that FOX has confirmed Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson will be returning to American Idol for Season 11.

Steven signed a multi-year deal last year, and Randy’s contract isn’t up yet so, it’s pretty much a no brainer that the two aren’t going anywhere.
