Kelly Clarkson and her backup singers Jill and Kate are up to something! Something…awesome.

Kelly tweeted this intriguing message to her fans on Friday: “I’m off to Oklahoma to record some songs with @jillandkate! I love random writing and recording with friends!”

What are the kids up to exactly? Kelly, Jill and Kate are recording music under the moniker Already Famous, and you can follow the band on twitter @alreadyfamous3.

Anthea pens her 3rd recap for the blog! This time, she reviews Scotty McCreery’s hometown show in Raleigh, NC. Check the bottom of the recap for photos

So, here’s some background on me before I start this whole concert recap. Be prepared. It might be a tad bit long, but stay with me. Haha. I’m 15 years old and I’ve been to four Idol concerts total (Seasons 7, 8, 9, 10) and I’ve done two recaps for MjsBigBlog.

Scotty McCreery on his Debut Album, Music Video and More

Scotty is still “working away” on his debut album. He finished 2 or 3 songs in the studio yesterday. He says they are looking to get out his debut album in early fall.

Recording the album has been “rapid fire” says Scotty. For that reason, there probably won’t be any co-writes on the album, but that hasn’t stopped him from “jamming on the bus.”

Lauren Alaina on Coming Back to Nashville and More

Brian Mansfield of Idol Chatter interviewed Lauren Alaina Saturday night before the Idols Live concert in Nashville.

Lauren talks about coming back to the Bridgstone Arena to perform as the Season 10 runner up 1 year after auditioning there. She almost left without auditioning after the kid who won “Chattanooga Idol” was cut at the tables. She felt doomed after only coming in 6th in the competition. Luckily, her mom was able to calm Lauren down enough to follow through with her tryout. It’s a good thing she did!

Pia Toscano on Dancing, Her New Single and More

Pia Toscano is all set to dance on So You Think You Can Dance…just kidding! She’ll be performing her new single, “This Time” and she’s really excited.

She’s also very excited about the reaction she’s been getting lately when she performs her first single on tour–folks in the audience are beginning to sing it back to her!
