Last night (Jan 1) Lee DeWyze sang the National Anthem at the Bulls home opener against the Memphis Grizzlies in his hometown, Chicago. The Season 9 American Idol winner performed a really solid, straightforward version of the anthem. Check it out after the jump.

Lee DeWyze’s old record label Wuli dug into their vaults to dust off a tune the American Idol Season 9 winner recorded before he competed on the hit FOX show.

You can download the tune, “Never There” from iTunes now. Lee recently finished up a club tour and is now writing and recording demos for his next album, due out sometime next year.

Lee DeWyze “Fallen” Digital Single Comes Out July 5 – Snippet!

“Fallen”, a new digital single from American Idol Season 9 winner, Lee DeWzye is set to be released on July 5th.

The track comes from the vaults of Lee’s pre-Idol label, WuLi Records in Chicago. WuLi produced two albums with Lee called Slumberland and So I’m Told.
