I know. I know. Kill me now. I did not make to the Lee DeWyze show at Brighton Music Hall in Boston. By the time I thought about getting tickets they were sold out. My dithering? Ever since I fainted at a crowded Jason Castro concert last year, I’m a little leary of general admission music concerts. Not that I won’t ever go to one again. Just…I have mixed feelings about them at the moment.
I’ve saw Lee perform, on two separate occasions, late last year–at the beautiful Mechanics Hall in Worcester, and at the IHeartRadio show in Tribeca.
Yes, Lee puts on a swell concert. And I am kinda sorry I missed this one. But I’m wicked claustrophobic in crowds. What can I say.
To make up for it, here are videos of a few of his Boston performances. Lee had a sweet acoustic setup on this tour. Sounds great!

Annabelle
From Lee’s Pre-Idol album, Slumberland. He changes up the arrangement here. Nice.
Lean On Me
Lee DeWyze and Corey Crowder duet on Bill Withers “Lean On Me”. It was Corey’s last night touring with Lee, so they joined forces on stage to sing Bill Wither’s classic tune.
