The Glee 2011 tour 2012 will end tomorrow with two shows in Dublin Ireland. It began in Los Angeles on May 28–just 4 days after the Glee Season 2 finale aired, wound it’s way around the US and Canada, and ended in the UK & Ireland.
Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray) who is awfully fond of girls, blogged today about the end of tour.
This marks the near end of GL2011. Can’t believe how many memories we’ve made, places we’ve been (especially in such a short time!!), and people we’ve met. Again, we are walking away feeling amazed at the response and the amount of people that have turned out. We are very, very thankful!!
Dianna goes on to apologize about missing a show today (she’s missed a couple so far). She’s taking medicine for “a bug” and hopes to be back for tomorrow’s final shows in Dublin. She thanks the fans for the great response the cast received on the road.
We all hope you know how much joy you’ve afforded us. The love and the support you bring speaks volumes. I know we haven’t been able to express our gratitude to each of you personally, but I hope our smiling faces tell you all of that, and more.
Make sure to click on the link for some pretty sweet photos. Oh, and this one of Corey Monteith and Chord Overstreet. And other stuff.
Now the cast will get a month off before they begin shooting episodes for Season 3.
Well. Chris Colfer doesn’t get a month off. He heads straight into production of his movie, “Struck By Lightning”, which will likely eat up any vacation he’s got coming. Plus he’s got books to write, and Disney shows to produce.
And there are those who are going on permanent vacation. Bye Chord Overstreet. We hardly knew ye. It should be a bittersweet goodbye after the last show tomorrow.
But, by the end of Season 3, we might be saying goodbye to even more Gleeksters, as creator, Ryan Murphy announced that most of the cast will be graduating.
