American Idol winner Scotty McCreery, 17, and the runner-up, Lauren Alaina, 16, are both minors, which means their contracts with Idol have to be approved by a Los Angeles judge. That also means the contents of those contracts become part of the public record.

‘American Idol’: Scotty and Lauren duke it out in the Nokia, on the scene for the performance finale
I got some SCOOP on the new Pia Toscano single “Counterfeit (Because)”!
According to a source who has heard the new song, the track is “a mid-tempo rhythmic pop track with a big chorus” and Pia’s vocal “sounds great” on it.
My source listened to the track several times and copied down the lyrics (It’s probably a matter of time before we hear it for ourselves!)
UPDATE: An announcement posted on U2.com confirms the New York Post report: Bono and The Edge (not the entire band) will appear alongside cast members of the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.
While backstage at the Billboard Music Awards, the band’s longtime manager, Paul McGuinness, revealed that the group would be rehearsing for the “Idol” finale on Monday before performing on Wednesday’s Idol finale
