Carrie Underwood Drops Gospel-Tinged “Let There Be Peace” (Video)

Carrie Underwood is getting ready to drop her first Christmas album, My Gift. Ahead of the September 25 release, the American Idol season 4 winner and country music star has released the gospel tinged original song “Let There Be Peace.”  The song, written by Carrie, her frequent collaborator Brett James and David Garcia her Cry Pretty producer, is one of two original songs the album,

In addition to a very special appearance by Carrie’s 5-year-old son, Isaiah Fisher, on the holiday classic that inspired the album title, “Little Drummer Boy,” My Gift also features her first collaboration with EGOT winner John Legend, on the original track, “Hallelujah,” written by John and Toby Gad (“All of Me”). The set list also includes familiar Christmas songs that capture the season’s spiritual message.
