America’s Got Talent Ratings Continue to Drop, Huge Drop vs 2019

Last night’s America’s Got Talent, sans Simon Cowell who suffered a serious back injury over the weekend, continued it ratings slide. Still, AGT led NBC to a broadcast win for the night.

America’s Got Talent, which featured Kelly Clarkson as a fill in for Simon, garnered a 0.9 ratings in the 18-49 key demo, dropping 1/10ths of a point from the last new episode. Judge Cuts earned a 1.0 in the demo two weeks ago. However, overall viewers rose 500K to 6.7 million.

By comparison, the first week of Quarterfinals in 2019 earned a 1.4 in the demo and 9.10 million viewers. That’s quite a drop season to season.

The World of Dance semi-final also dropped 1/10th of a point compared to last week, down to a 0.6 rating and 3.9 million viewers.
