Last Thursday (Feb 14) American Idol reigning winner Maddie Poppe sang the National Anthem before the Kings game in Los Angeles. The National Hockey League game featured the Los Angeles Kings taking on the Vancouver Canucks at the Staples Center. Unfortunately, the hometown team lost by a score of 4-3. Dang Canadians! Just kidding!
At the end of the clip, the Kings throw in a little plug for Maddie’s website and current single, “First Aid Kit.”

The singer has also announced her next single, “Little Things,” set to be released on March 1st. Maddie plans to release a full album via 19/Hollywood Records on May 17.
