After winning the inaugural season of American Idol on ABC a month ago, Maddie Poppe has dropped the music video for her catchy coronation single, “Going Going Gone.”
In the clip, after Maddie has car trouble, her best girlfriends come to the rescue. After a fun road trip, the quartet end up at Maddie’s gig, where she rocks out for an enthusiastic crowd. Oh, the power of friendship!

Next for Maddie: She performs at the Rose Bowl’s AmericaFest on July 4th in Pasadena California, and then she’ll be on the road for real with her fellow Top 7 contestants and season 8 winner Kris Allen on the American Idol Live! tour.
