Fans have been patiently waiting for new music from American Idol winner, Chayce Beckham. But as his reign as Idol champ comes to an end in May when the show crowns a new winner, the country singer teases that new music is on the horizon.
“New single releasing this month,” Chayce posted on Twitter earlier this week. “Ep coming out shortly after. Still gotta name it tho.” Perhaps the label is timing the EP release with the American Idol season 20 finale in May?

Since winning American Idol last May, Chayce has been writing and recording new music, while performing concert dates all over the country. He’s in between gigs right now, but the Apple Valley, California native who currently lives in Nashville will hit the road again beginning April 14 in Cedar Park TX.
In the meantime, Chayce keeps his fans up-to-date with new music previews. He also plays new songs during concert performances. For instance, Chayce recently posted a sneak peek of a song with a friend. “Wrote this song with my good friend @stephen.wilson.jr about a month or so ago,” Chayce wrote on Instagram. “The audio is just the iPhone demo of him and i playing. This has quickly became one of our personal favorites and a favorite for the live shows as well. Titled ‘This ol Rodeo’”

Also, Chayce posted the chorus of a song he’d been working on. “Chorus for a song I wrote today, Heartbroke Cowboy. What do y’all think… Should I post the whole song???”

Additionally, Chayce shared an acoustic performance of a brand new song titled “If I had a week with nothing to do” Listen to it HERE.
Chayce hits the road in April
This week, Chayce played a radio station promo event in San Antonio, posting a photo of himself, coffee cup in hand. Alongside the pic he wrote, “Had a ball in San Antonio. Coffee was pretty damn good too. Texas you’re the first stop on my tour this year and I can’t wait to be back with my boys. Thanks @kj97sanantonio for bringing me out.#countrymusic.”
Hoping to catch Chayce and the boys in person? Check out the singer’s concert schedule here. Along with a bunch of solo dates, the Chayce will also open for BBR label mate, and fellow American Idol alum Jimmie Allen on his “Down Home” tour, beginning April 28 in Cincinnati. In November, Chayce will open for Luke Combs on his Canadian tour.

Chayce immediately signed a record deal after winning Idol
Immediately after winning American Idol, 19 Records and BBR music group signed Chayce to a record contract. The singer will release music via BBR’s Wheelhouse records imprint. Since signing to the label, Chayce recorded a duet with Canadian country singer and Stoney Creek imprint artist Lindsay Ell. The two recently dropped the music video for their song “Can’t Do That Without Me.”
The song (produced by Ross Copperman and penned by Jordan Walker, Trannie Anderson and Michael Carter) describes a couple’s long-awaited reunion, which the video brings to life with visions of the two singers speeding down beautiful scenic routes.
Hopefully, BBR can recreate the chart-topping success of Chayce’s self-penned coronation single “23,” in addition to convincing country radio to play his stuff.
