Around the New Year, Cassandra posted a photo, showing off her new bangs. She also set a few goals, and shared what makes her thankful.

In 2022, she plans to release an EP, work on learning American Sign Language, attempt not to cry on her 26th birthday, say yes to things that make her nervous, and more.

She’s thankful for her friends and family’s support, the “incredible opportunity to perform on American Idol and all the life changing events that followed,” and even more.

On December 3, she and fellow American Idol alum Hunter Metts performed a concert “Christmas at the Factory,” a black tie affair at the Factory in the singer’s hometown, Columbia, South Carolina.
